TPeeCommunity guidelines
TPee works because people share what they find. These guidelines keep it useful and safe for everyone.
Adding restrooms
- Only add restrooms you know exist, placing the pin at the entrance.
- Add only what you're sure of. "Not sure" is always a fine answer.
- Never post door codes, key codes or Wi-Fi passwords. Businesses change them, and sharing them can get restrooms closed to everyone. "Ask staff for the code" is the right way to describe it.
- Check the duplicate prompt. If the restroom is already listed, confirm or correct that listing instead.
Reviews
- Review restrooms you've actually used, and describe what you saw.
- No personal attacks, harassment, hate speech, spam or advertising.
- Don't name or describe staff or other visitors.
Photos
- Photograph the entrance, signs, the changing table or the accessible stall — never people.
- Every photo is reviewed before it's public. Location data is removed automatically.
How moderation works
New listings go live straight away, marked New · unconfirmed until someone else reviews them or confirms they're still there. Anyone signed in can report a listing. When several different people report a listing as wrong (it doesn't exist, it's in the wrong place, it's a duplicate, or it's inappropriate), it's automatically hidden until a TPee moderator reviews it. Each person counts once, and nobody can confirm or report their own listing.
Accounts that repeatedly break these guidelines may lose points, have contributions removed, or be suspended.
